Thinking in Terms of Energy, Frequency, and Vibration
Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship, 5 October 2017
In the words of Kelsey Grammar, “Praying is talking to god; meditating is listening to god; music is both.” This evening is going to be a lot of praying and a lot of meditating because we will integrate Bob’s song throughout the entire discussion to weave a story through your soul, to create an experience through the experiential. The lyrics of the songs are as much of the lesson as the spoken words.
Tonight, I invite you to allow the music to be your heartbeat and the spoken words and the sung lyrics to be your medicine. I invite you to set an intention to allow the heart connection with the music to align the mind and the gut to the frequency of the heart. I encourage you to move, to close your eyes, to snap, to scream “Aho”, to dance, to cry, to allow into vibrational form whatever energy wants to be expressed in an inspired moment. Without judgment. Without question. Allow your soul to express the vibrations it is feeling within.
If you allow your heart to become the music, there is a rapture. Oh yes my friends, there is an intense feeling of pleasure and joy that will frequent you when you allow your soul to be serenaded with the consciousness of this music. It will visit you – gently at first – and eventually capture your spirit until the energy becomes you and you become it. That ah-ha moment, that revelation, that awareness that has been knocking at your door. And if that inspires you, then please allow yourself to be inspired.
Right now, I invite you to get in touch with your breath, make yourself comfortable, close your eyes if you wish, and bathe in these vibrations.
SONG (Bob Sima): Om Sweet Om, from A Thousand Cups of Tea
“Caught by the rapture, my heart is captured.
Out of the stillness, my soul can feel this.
Out of the silence, I’m filled with aliveness.
Gently and freely, I feel you breathe me.”
When we allow ourselves to be still, when we fill ourselves with the beauty of silence, what is breathing us?
In his book Being and Vibration, Joseph Rael describes his life on the Picuris pueblo and describes his pueblo family like this:
———We knew we were a people (a “vibration”) who had come from the Infinite Void, from zero, from one’s sense that we did not exist. We were made of appearing and disappearing light that came from the inhalation and exhalation of God’s breath. We were from the very Heart of the center of the non-existence of infinity.———
We all know there is so much more “out there” that has nothing to do with accomplishments or expectations. It is a sense, an intuition, a voice, a knowing. A vibration.
A vibration that – in that silent and still space – we can tap into Its frequency. And when we align with Its frequency, we are energized. We can feel the tingles and tickles in the midst of non-doing-ness. The energy of the Universe. The energy of Creation. The energy of connection to the All.
We know it is there. We know we can access it. We know we can feel it. We know we can raise our vibration to experience a mirrored higher vibration through the veil. Because as above, so below. As within, so without.
One step further: As I see, I am seen. As I feel, I am felt. As I think, so I am thought of.
SONG (Bob Sima): As Above So Below, from Thin Little Veil
Once we connect to the space where we can observe ourselves as the observer of our life, we begin to sense why things are showing up in our lives. We connect the dots between the above and the below, the without and the within, the conscious and the unconscious. We begin to have compassion for our poor little human self trying to navigate through these daily adventures. We also begin to see that things don’t happen to us, they happen for us.
We are able to step back and recognize the energy we brought to a situation, how the frequency of the vibration we carried in our heart effected and affected the chain reaction. And more often than not, we can find the lesson we learned along the way. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Those words – as descriptors or categorizers – carry a vibration that triggers a feeling or an image in us. A word – a vibration. A feeling – a vibration. An image – a vibration. A reaction – a vibration. A vocalization – a vibration. A lesson – a vibration.
When we get to a place where we can describe an experience – without having to qualify feelings or emotions or degrees of that particular experience – the frequency that oscillates within our consciousness around that experience changes. The conscious vibration can then influence any residual muck in the subconscious. As above, so below.
We’ve all heard the phrase, “Change you thinking, change your life.” If you dig to the depths of what a thought is, you will find a vibration. A vibration that causes our human brain to put words, emotions, feelings, beliefs, and whatever else we have stuffed in our backpack around that vibration to make it a real “thing” to us.
So the question is, do we have a choice? Can we choose the frequency within which we want to operate and within which we view everything – every thing – around us? Can we choose what energy outwardly manifests from whatever life situation might come at us at any point during the day? Can we choose the vibration we wish to be in so that lower vibrations are transmuted closer to ours and higher vibrations inspire us to reach an expanded consciousness?
Change your vibration, change your life.
SONG (Bob Sima): Happening For You, from putalittlemoreloveintheworld
Joseph Rael continues further in his book Being and Vibration by saying:
———Action and vibration are the same, and action can be equated with struggle, or dynamic tension, the energy that is creating the possibility for creativity and then becomes the potential around possibility. Without that dynamic tension, there is no creativity. Out of that struggle of the creative energies, which is sound vibration, comes the reconciliation of that struggle and the manifestation of the creation of a new thing.———

SONG (Bob Sima): Same Energy, from It’s Time
“It’s the same energy that makes the floods and moves the blood and places the blame. Turns on the power and raises the flower and raises the eyebrow and raises the game.”
How do we raise our spiritual game when spirituality is an energetic field within and around us?
Spirituality is unique from one individual to the next. Spirituality is the energy, frequency, and vibration that we allow ourselves to resonate with and resonate out in human form. As we find our voice – our song – our vibration – within ourselves, we excavate more of our own spirituality. When we invite others to sing with us, that song may turn into dissonance or we may find perfect harmony in the shared vibrations. We are constantly vibing, constantly writing our song, constantly feeling frequencies and energies all around us. All feeding into the discernment of our own spiritual perspective.
SONG (Bob Sima): The One and Only Song, from The Movers The Shakers and The Peacemakers
What is the next verse of your own spiritual song? What note, lyric, melody, harmony, verse, or chorus will connect you to your spirituality? What notes will connect you to the spirituality of the It, the All, the Source, the Universe? To the cosmic ones? To the stone people? To the plant medicine? The animals? The winged ones? The finned ones? The crawlers?
What part of your song – of your energy, your frequency, your vibration – connects you to your fellow humans?
If we are all created from the same Creative Source, then we are truly all the same. The stardust within me is the same stardust within you. When we are connected to our own core vibration and frequency – our spiritual song – it is easier to pick up and feel the vibration and frequency of those around us.
So the question here is: What energy do we want to add to any given moment in time? What do we want those around us to feel from us? What do we want those around us to re-member and re-call when they think of us?
HearthMath Institute can scientifically measure the electromagnetic field of the heart out to at least 9 feet with today’s instrumentation. There is a suspicion that the field extends far beyond 9 feet. That means that your energy, your frequency, and your vibration arrive at your dinner table before you sit down and place your napkin on your lap. It also means that your energy, your frequency, and your vibration stay at the dinner table after you push in your chair after excusing yourself. What energy do we wish to send ahead before our arrival and leave behind after we depart?
SONG (Bob Sima): How You Made Them Feel, from Thin Little Veil
“The essence of the question, isn’t it all about connection, the mark we leave?”
Our mark begins with a vibration from within us. A vibration that our own human systems build a story around. That story sets into motion a frequency that influences our actions. Our actions are energy. Back to Joseph Rael:
———Action and vibration are the same, and action can be equated with struggle, or dynamic tension, the energy that is creating the possibility for creativity and then becomes the potential around possibility.———
- What kind of mark do you want to leave behind?
- Are you leaving it?
- Is there a vibration inside of you that needs retuned so that you are better frequencied to leave the mark you wish to leave?
- What mark do you want to leave behind?
We all have a spiritual song, which means we all have a spiritual purpose, which means we all have the potential around the possibility for creativity. What are you creating? What is your potential to create? What is your potential to create a meaningful mark in this world? One that may impact one life – human or other – or one that may impact tens of thousands of lives.
How many doesn’t matter. What matters is that we live that purpose with the most intentional energy, frequency, and vibration that we possibly can right now. And tomorrow, we live that purpose with the most intentional energy, frequency, and vibration that we possibly can in each of tomorrow’s nows.
I would bet that the majority of us wish to move our own spiritual mountains. I would bet that the majority of us wish to shake up ourselves and others to take action for what we believe will transcend these human moments and create the spiritual connection when we know we are “the very Heart of the center of the non-existence of infinity” to quote Joseph Rael again. I would bet that the majority of us wish to make peace with all that came before, all that exists in the now, and all that will come in the future. That is vision.
Are you a Mover? Are you a Shaker? Are you a Peacemaker?
SONG (Bob Sima): The Movers The Shakers and The Peacemakers, from The Movers The Shakers and The Peacemakers
“We see with one love, one heart, one drum beating to a song that is singing us home.”
- The heart that knows the mark you will leave and how you made them feel.
- The drum of the one and only song of our spiritual vibration and connection to the Source.
- The love that will win in a matchup of same energies.
- The heart that will remind you that life is always happening for you.
- The drum beating the same rhythm, as above so below.
- The love that will always carry us ohm sweet ohm.
“We see with one love, one heart, one drum beating to a song that is singing us home.”
When we reach back to the silence and the stillness, the answers are there for us. We tap in, we tune in, and we listen in. When we allow ourselves to be still, when we fill ourselves with the beauty of silence, what is breathing us?
SONG (Bob Sima): Meditation is the Medication, from It’s Time
